PRACTICE PUNE STYLE 
ESTABLISHED TRADITIONS, EVOLVING METHODS

Ramamani Iyengar  Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI) offers 55 classes weekly for students of all levels.  This workshop will offer local practitioners  an opportunity to experience the most current teachings from Pune, India.  Join Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers (CIYT) Lorene Zant and David Carpenter who both spent time in Pune India this year.

Registration Support for this workshop includes the benefit of a one year membership ($70) in IYNAUS – Iyengar Yoga Nation Association of the United States a not for profit association dedicated to exemplary teaching standards, and IYAMW (Iyengar Yoga Association of the MidWest) our local region.  

Communities like ours are benefited through the effort of these organizations through the dissemination of the genius of the Iyengar family legacy.

David Carpenter has been practicing Iyengar Yoga since
2000 and has been a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher since
2015. He studied in India with Geeta Iyengar in December 
2014 and spent August 2017 studying at RIMYI. He now 
serves as President of IYNAUS.

 

Lorene Zant served on IYAMW’s board of directors, attended Geeta’s Yoganusasanam in December 2015, and studied at RIMYI the month of October 2017. She is committed to serving those who are in need and sees the value of Iyengar Yoga as a vehicle to do so.
